Organist/Pianist

Jane Moore Kaye is the organist and pianist at Providence Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Virginia where she accompanies the Sanctuary Choir. Jane is a native of Olathe, Kansas. Military life brought Jane and her husband, Gene, to Fairfax where Jane has been the organist and pianist since 1999 for Providence Presbyterian. Jane is married to Gene Kaye, a bass in the Sanctuary Choir as well as the director of the Providence Singers. They have two children: Barbara and Paul. Besides music, Jane’s other interests include gardening, her three cats, Civil War history, knitting, crocheting, collecting antique thermometers, and reading.

Jane also maintains an active performing schedule in the greater Washington, D.C. area as a collaborative pianist, organist, teacher, and adjudicator. She regularly accompanies area city, district, and state choral festivals and in the community was the founding Director of Programming for Music & Arts at Providence. As a choral accompanist, she has played in many cities across the United States, Europe, the Baltics, and the United Kingdom. Highlights of her career have included performances at the White House, the National Cathedral, Strathmore, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Other performing highlights include playing with the Fairfax Symphony and the National Symphony Orchestra.  For the Fairfax Choral Society Youth Choruses, Ms. Kaye accompanies the elite Master Singers and the Concert Choir.
