Take Action and make an immediate difference helping to eliminate health and safety hazards in nearby homes.

Providence is joining John Calvin Presbyterian and Ravensworth Baptist churches to make repairs and improvements to the home of an elderly neighbor in Annandale. Tasks for Providence workers include work on the landscaping (including a lot of weed-pulling), careful painting, drywall repair, electrical equipment replacement, and some general handyperson tasks.

Two shifts are available on Saturday, April 25: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Feel free to sign up for one or both.

A very light continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided. More details about the event and the precise location will be shared via email with those who sign up.
