How do we worship at 11:15 am?  With joy!  The 11:15 am worship will inspire anyone at any place on their faith journey — newcomers through mature faith mentors. The placement of songs, the tempos of the songs, and the flow of the hour are designed to fill your life and worship experience with energy, to enhance and grow the personal relationship each of us seeks from the triune God through song and the message of the day, to complement the Bible readings or theme of the day, and, most of all, to give honor and praise to God who has blessed us richly.

One God, many ways of Worship. At Providence we offer a Traditional style and a Contemporary style of worship.  What differs is the style of music.  The 11:15 am worship music is lead by our Worship Band — guitar(s), drums, keyboards, vocals, etc.  The music selections are primarily taken from contemporary Christian writers, artists and worship leaders.  The great musical heritage of the church at large is not lost but preserved by offering hymns presented in a contemporary band style.

Children of all ages also can experience the joy of worship.  Young children begin the worship service with their families in Taylor Hall. Following a “Time for Children” during the first half of the service, children who are in preschool through third grade are invited to “Godly Play Children & Worship” led by our Children’s Ministry. The Nursery is available at the top of the ramp leading to the classrooms for toddlers and infants.

Traditional?  Yes!  Contemporary?  Yes!  Just “come and see.”
