September 18, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

We will meet in the Parlor to discuss The Lincoln Highway: A Novel by Amor Towles.

Spanning just ten days and told from multiple points of view, Towles’s third novel will satisfy fans of his multi-layered literary styling while providing them an array of new and richly imagined settings, characters, and themes about eighteen-year-old Emmett Watson just released from the juvenile work farm where he has served fifteen months for involuntary manslaughter in June 1954.

In October, we will discuss The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty by Susan Page.

Providence Readers meets the third Sunday of most months and is open to anyone interested in attending. Please feel free to stop by whenever the book or topic interests you. For more information, contact Paula Rogers at 703-495-9144 or par9144@msn.com.
