Serving Regional Neighbors Providence has sent at least one team of adults to the Gulf Coast each year since the Gulf hurricanes of 2005 to help with clean-up and repair efforts. Providence plans to continue sending teams for several more years. The high school youth usually take one or two regional work trips a year. Examples of recent trips: Orange Grove, MS—repaired a home damaged by Hurricane Katrina Hosanna Industries—Help construct and repair houses for needy families 3 Days of Mission How to support the regional mission trips: Teens may volunteer. Adults may volunteer to chaperone. Consider loaning a van. Donate supplies. Make financial contributions.
