Elementary
- Sunday School
With the advent of a new program year there are exciting plans for Christian growth and relationship building as we grow in faith in small group environments during the 10 am education hour.
- SPRIGS (Small People Investigating God, grades K-4): Kindergarten and first graders will explore the faith stories of Noah, Naaman, Rahab, Ruth, Esther, Elijah and Elisha, Peter, Levi, Zacchaeus, and Paul. Second graders will investigate "How God Keeps Promises, Loves and Cares for Us", and "God Wants Us to Trust and Obey." Third and fourth graders will begin the year looking at "God's World, Beautiful and Broken"; "God Makes a Covenant with Us"; and how "God Saves Us and Tells Us How to Live." The curriculum is from Reformed Tradition's "Walk with Me" series.
- TWIGS (Tweens Investigating God, grades 5 & 6): start the year reflecting with Rev. Lisa on "Abraham and Ibrahim: Stories of Faith from the Bible and the Quran" during the 10 am education hour. This will be an intergenerational class that explores the stories we share in common with the Muslim faith and how each tradition has shaped the understanding of the story. Parents, teens, and other interested adults are welcome to join this class.
