The introduction of the new Contemporary Service will require some changes at Providence when we resume two services this Fall. Watch your email and snail mail for the survey seeking your feedback about the start time and when to hold Sunday School.  Please help us out by completing the surveys.

Contemporary Worship Leader

Exciting news!!   Richard D. "Rick"  Thiele recently joined the Providence staff as the Contemporary Worship Leader and Technology Coordinator.  He already has begun working with Mary Rogers and the Worship Committee to develop the contemporary service which will begin this Fall.

Rick brings substantial experience in church music ministry, technology and worship leadership to PPC.  He also has served as a youth choir director, with the Paul Hill Chorale in Washington, DC and is a member of the local roots/Americana band, "The Dog Waggers".  

Rick currently leads the contemporary service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Vienna, VA.  He will continue in this position as both it and his new job at Providence are part-time.
